Mother Carries the Burden is a deeply personal piece from my Reflections Series: Turbulence Behind Tranquility. Using a blend of acrylic paints and reclaimed art paper, I created this work to examine the profound theme of self-awareness for anyone who embodies the role of a mother, regardless of circumstance or title. It reflects the unseen weight carried by those who nurture, protect, and give of themselves in ways that often go unnoticed.
At the heart of this series is my belief that self-reflection is essential for authentic self-awareness. By observing my thoughts, emotions, and actions without judgment, I create the space necessary for personal growth and deeper understanding.
