Art for a Cause

Even the smallest ripple can change the course of a current.

MISSION

Art for a Cause exists to turn creativity into action. My mission is to use original artwork to raise awareness, support nonprofits, and create tangible change in the lives of people and communities in need. Every piece shared moves beyond the studio and into service.

Every brushstroke is a choice to act, to give, to reach beyond myself and touch something that matters.

WHAT ART FOR A CAUSE IS

Art for a Cause is a year-long initiative that blends creativity with purpose. Each campaign is an opportunity to connect art with meaningful work, letting each piece sold directly support organizations doing essential work in our communities.

HOW IT WORKS

Each quarter I select a nonprofit partner and set a fundraising goal tied to their mission. A curated selection of original artwork is featured for that campaign. When these pieces are purchased, the proceeds go directly into the campaign fund for that quarter’s nonprofit. Supporters can also make cash donations, and as a thank-you, donors receive a signed limited edition print. Art leaves the studio, and together we turn creativity into tangible support.

2026 NONPROFITS

Q1 — RedBike Outreach
A small volunteer-run organization in St. Louis providing meals, clothing, and essential supplies to unhoused members of the community. Their work is immediate and human. One person helping another.

Q2 — Angel Band Project
An organization that uses music as a path toward healing for survivors of sexual violence. Through songwriting and recording, survivors are given the opportunity to reclaim their voices and share their stories.

Q3 — American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Missouri Chapter
An organization dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide through advocacy, education, research, and community programs.

Q4 — NAMI Missouri
A statewide network supporting individuals and families impacted by mental illness through education, peer support, and advocacy for better systems of care.

In the end, the idea remains simple. A painting leaves the studio. Someone brings it home. And somewhere beyond the frame, the work continues.

Introducing The Angel Band Project

The Angel Band Project is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting survivors of sexual violence through the transformative power of music and community. By creating safe, creative spaces, it helps survivors find healing, connection, and resilience through collaborative musical expression. The organization also fosters public awareness and engagement, using art and performance to amplify survivors’ voices and stories.

As a survivor of sexual violence, I have experienced firsthand the healing power of creative expression. For over ten years, I worked closely with the Angel Band Project during its earliest years, using music to process trauma and visual art to bring new audiences into the conversation about survivor support and empowerment.
