My Untamed Series was born from a commitment to reimagine what’s easily overlooked. Each piece incorporates discarded bits of magazine clippings—fragments of imagery and color that once held meaning but were thrown away. By repurposing these remnants, I sought to reduce waste while allowing the scraps themselves to shape the emotional language of the work.
Throughout the series, I leaned into the heaviness of the outside world, channeling unsettled energy into layers of torn paper and instinctive movement. These works are intentionally unpolished and unrestrained, capturing the feeling of living in a world that often feels chaotic and unpredictable.
The Untamed Series invites viewers to consider how something new, honest, and powerful can emerge from discarded pieces. The series explores how transformation can rise from what seems broken or forgotten.
