Coming Out is a mixed-media work of acrylic, pastel, and ink, capturing a figure bursting outward, breaking free from what once held me in place. Unlike You Give Me Strength, which held the quiet intensity of reunion, this piece is raw, urgent, and demanding — both of me and the viewer. It asks us to face the parts of ourselves we’ve hidden, to step into light we’ve been afraid to claim, and to trust that freedom and growth emerge through the cracks. It is a declaration that breaking open is not weakness, but the first act of becoming fully, boldly alive.
