ABOUT
Enlightenment is a mixed-media exploration of human figures intertwined with fragments of handwritten script, a meditation on the moments when clarity and understanding break through the chaos of life. Creating this piece, I drew from the threads of my own journey — the vulnerability of reunion, the struggle to break free, the quiet persistence of hope — and sought to capture those sparks of insight that arrive unexpectedly, illuminating the self. The figures rise, bend, and reach across the paper, their gestures echoing both struggle and revelation, while the script whispers the intimate truths we carry but rarely speak aloud. This work asks me, and asks the viewer, to sit with the tension between confusion and understanding, and to recognize that enlightenment is not a sudden arrival, but a series of fragile, luminous moments that guide us forward.
