ABOUT

Part of Erin McGrath Rieke’s Lost in Translation series, Justice Lost is an 8x10 hand-painted acrylic on canvas that speaks to the silence that follows when truth is obscured. Dominated by deep, shifting variations of blue and framed in stark black, the piece evokes a sense of weight, distance, and searching. It is both a mourning and a meditation—a visual echo of what’s been overlooked, misunderstood, or erased.
