Paint My Spirit Gold was created outdoors in the golden light of early autumn, inspired by the emotional pull of Mumford & Sons’ I Will Wait. The lyric became a quiet mantra for me, guiding each brushstroke as a reflection of love, longing, and emotional endurance. Painted in natural sunlight, the work mirrors the healing presence of love and light. Like the song, this piece became my meditation on waiting for others and for the lost parts of myself I longed to rediscover.
