Daily Meditation for June 27

I can mourn what was while still remaining open to what could be.

REFLECTION

Grief and hope are not opposites. We can honor what has been lost while also allowing ourselves to imagine new possibilities. Today is an invitation to make space for both remembrance and renewal, trusting that acknowledging the past does not prevent us from embracing the future.

WRITE

Reflect on something you have lost, released, or left behind.

What does it mean to honor that experience without becoming anchored to it? Consider how your life has been shaped by what ended and what possibilities may be emerging because of the space that ending created.

CREATE

Create a visual representation of grief and hope existing together.

Consider imagery such as a garden after winter, a setting sun and a rising moon, fallen leaves nourishing new growth, an open gate, or a river flowing beyond a bend. How can your artwork express the coexistence of remembrance and possibility?

LISTEN

Choose a song that captures both longing and hope.

As you listen, notice what memories, emotions, or reflections arise. How does the music help you hold space for what was while remaining open to what may still come?

What possibility are you willing to remain open to, even as you honor what has been lost?
