Daily Meditation for June 7

I allow joy to enter my life without questioning whether I deserve it.

REFLECTION

Joy is often treated as something that must be earned through hard work, achievement, or the absence of struggle. Yet moments of happiness, wonder, laughter, and delight are not rewards for perfection. Today is an invitation to welcome joy as a natural part of being alive and to recognize that you do not need to justify, explain, or earn the experiences that bring light into your life.

WRITE

Reflect on your relationship with joy.

Are there times when you have felt guilty for being happy, especially during difficult seasons? What activities, people, places, or experiences bring you genuine joy, and what might change if you allowed yourself to embrace them more freely?

CREATE

Create a visual representation of joy.

Consider using vibrant colors, playful shapes, movement, light, unexpected combinations, or imagery that evokes laughter, wonder, celebration, or connection. How can your artwork capture the feeling of welcoming joy without reservation?

LISTEN

Choose a song that immediately lifts your spirit or makes you want to move, sing, smile, or remember a meaningful moment.

As you listen, notice what emotions, memories, or sensations arise. How does the music help you reconnect with the simple experience of joy?

What is bringing you joy right now, and how can you give yourself permission to fully receive it?
