ABOUT THE ARTIST
Erin McGrath Rieke is an American interdisciplinary artist, writer, and advocate whose work explores gender-based violence, mental health, addiction, and social justice. Through visual art, participatory installations, and community engagement, she uses creative expression to raise awareness, foster healing, and amplify survivor-centered advocacy.
Erin is the Founder and Director of JUST E Productions, a platform for socially engaged art and creative activism. Her signature projects include The Aria Rising Project, offering handwritten messages of hope to survivors of gender-based violence, Turbulence Behind Tranquility, a multimedia exploration of trauma and recovery, and her current flagship initiative, the I AM. I AM. I AM. Project, an interdisciplinary endeavor integrating decades of personal journals, art, and lived experience into a cohesive narrative of resilience, identity, and transformation.
With a foundation in psychology, social justice, and public health, and extensive university-affiliated professional training, Erin combines creative practice with advocacy to challenge stigma, empower survivors, and inspire social change. Through JUST E Productions and her ongoing projects, she continues to create inclusive, empathetic, and socially conscious spaces for dialogue, healing, and transformation.
