Q3: Identity & Becoming
Q1 THEME: IDENTITY & BECOMING
This quarter, we explore the self that exists beneath expectations, survival habits, and assigned labels. We turn toward the parts of us shaped by experience but not defined by it, noticing the creativity, resilience, and curiosity that quietly persist. Identity is fluid and complex, unfolding over time, and often revealing itself in unexpected ways.
In this group, we reflect on the ways identity is claimed, performed, and sometimes surrendered. We consider how labels can both confine and reveal, how survival can obscure desire, and how creativity can act as a bridge between who we are and who we wish to become. Each month, we gather to explore these questions through conversation, reflection, and shared insight, drawing inspiration from youth who are discovering their own voices through empowerment and creative education. Together, we witness the courage of becoming, honoring the self that emerges when we move beyond expectation, survival, and constraint toward authentic expression and possibility.
